Ursine is a ribbed knit dress with a turtleneck and a fringed hem. The rib is what gives it shape: it follows the body without gripping, and it recovers rather than bagging out at the knees and elbows the way a flat knit does after a few hours. The fringe at the hem stops it reading as a plain column.
Rust is the only colour and an unusual one for a knit dress, which is the point. It sits warm against camel, cream and chocolate, works against dark denim, and looks considerably more expensive than black in the same fabric. It is also one of the few colours that flatters in a high neck, where black can drain the face in winter light.
Sizes run S through 4XL, one of the broadest ranges in the range and genuinely inclusive for a fitted knit. Wear it with knee-high boots, with ankle boots and opaque tights, or with trainers and a long coat. The chart below gives body measurements in inches.
