Raoulette is an oversized plaid jacket in a fluffy brushed finish, buttoned up the front. The brushed surface is what separates it from a standard plaid shacket: it softens the pattern and gives the jacket depth, so the plaid reads as texture from a distance rather than as a hard grid.
Five colourways and an unusually soft set for plaid. Grey, black and brown are the grounded three. Blue is cooler and reads more casual. Apricot is the standout, a warm pale orange almost never seen in plaid outerwear, and genuinely lovely against cream and denim.
Sizes run S through 2XL. Cut oversized, so take your usual size for the shape as designed. Brushed plaid should be hand washed or dry cleaned and dried flat rather than machine dried, which flattens the nap. The chart below gives body measurements in inches.
