Nichola is an oversized blouse with a button-down collar, cut loose through the body rather than fitted. The oversized shirt is one of the few genuinely versatile pieces in a wardrobe: worn open over a vest it is a layer, buttoned and tucked it is a shirt, and left out over jeans it is the whole outfit.
White, blue and green. White is the classic and the sharpest against tailoring. Blue is the traditional shirting shade and the easiest to wear to work. Green is the unexpected one of the three and reads more relaxed, which suits the oversized cut. The button-down collar keeps its shape without pressing, which matters on a shirt worn loose.
Sizes run S through 3XL. Because the cut is intentionally roomy, take your usual size for the shape as designed rather than sizing up again. Wear it with jeans, over a slip dress, or knotted at the waist with wide trousers. It sits on our price floor. The chart below gives body measurements in inches.
