Lorette is a cropped denim jacket with a collar, and the crop is what makes it a different garment from a standard denim jacket. Ending at the waist rather than the hip, it works over high-waisted trousers, midi skirts and dresses where a longer jacket would cut the line in the wrong place.
Five colourways and only one of them is denim blue. Yellow, pink and white take the jacket well away from workwear and into spring, and a coloured denim crop reads far lighter than the fabric usually does. Black is the sharpest and the one that works into evening. Blue is the classic for anyone wanting the traditional version.
Sizes run XS through 2XL. A cropped jacket is unforgiving about length, so check the chart rather than assuming it sits where your usual jacket does. Wear it over a slip dress, with wide trousers, or with a high-waisted skirt. The chart below gives body measurements in inches.
