Leotrude is a ribbed knit midi with a belt, which is the combination that makes a knit dress work on more than one body type. Rib follows the shape without gripping it, and the belt puts a waist where the knit alone would run straight through, so the dress has definition rather than relying on the wearer to provide it.
Five colourways across warm and cool. Black and grey are the neutrals. Beige is the softest and sits with cream and camel. Red is the statement and reads well through the festive months. Green is the quietly interesting one and the pick against tan boots. All five work with the same belt, which is included.
This is a genuinely versatile dress, office with flats, dinner with heeled boots, weekend with trainers and a long coat. The rib recovers rather than bagging out at the knees, so it survives a full day. Sizes run XS through 2XL and the chart below gives body measurements in inches.
