Laodike is a V-neck blouse with ruffled sleeves, and it is the most completely graded garment in the collection: XS through 6XL, ten consecutive sizes with nothing skipped at either end, across ten colourways. One hundred combinations in all.
The colour card is as considered as the size run. Light blue, blue, blue grey and dark blue are four distinct depths of blue. Light brown and brown are two of brown. White, beige, black and pink complete it. Every value names a specific shade rather than a base colour.
The ruffle sits at the sleeve rather than the neckline, which keeps the V clean and puts the detail where it moves. Steam a ruffle from underneath rather than pressing it flat, which crushes the gather.
