Jacquette is an oversized plaid cardigan, and it offers six colourways where most plaid knitwear manages two or three. A cardigan is the softest way to wear plaid: the knit breaks up the grid so the pattern reads as texture rather than as a hard tartan.
Black, grey and brown are the three grounded plaids. Red and green are the traditional seasonal pair. Multicoloured is the outlier and the boldest of the six, worth stocking because it gives the range a genuine statement option rather than six variations on the same idea.
Sizes run S through 3XL, six sizes. Cut oversized, so take your usual size for the intended shape. Because plaid is already pattern, keep what goes underneath plain and let the cardigan lead. The chart below gives body measurements in inches.
