Herleve is a ribbed knit vest that buttons up the front, which makes it more useful than a pullover vest. Buttoned it wears as a sleeveless top; open it becomes a light waistcoat over a shirt. Either way it adds warmth through the body without bulk at the arms.

Three warm neutrals and no black, which is a considered choice. Beige is the lightest and the most versatile. Brown is the deepest. Khaki sits between them and is the most unexpected of the three in a knit vest. All three work over white, cream and denim.
