Gillian is an oversized plush coat with a lapel collar, cut generously so it goes over a knit without pulling anywhere. Plush has a deep soft pile that reads expensive in photographs and in person, and it gives a simple coat shape all the texture it needs without any hardware or detailing.
Four colourways and two of them are unusual for outerwear. Brown and grey are the grounded pair. Blue is cooler and more distinctive than a navy would be. Pink is the surprise, and in a plush texture a soft pink reads considered rather than sugary, particularly against cream, grey or denim underneath.
Sizes run XS through XL. Because the cut is already oversized, take your usual size rather than sizing up again. Plush should be brushed rather than pressed if it flattens in storage. Wear it over knitwear, over a dress, or over loungewear. The chart below gives body measurements in inches.
