Fredesent is an oversized plaid shirt jacket, the piece that sits between a shirt and a coat and does the job of both. Too heavy to be a shirt, too light to be a coat, it covers the stretch of autumn when neither is right, worn open over a tee or buttoned as a top.
Green, black and grey, and all three keep the plaid readable without shouting. Green is the most autumnal and sits with cream, tan and denim. Black is the sharpest and the most urban. Grey is the quietest of the three and the easiest to layer under a coat once it turns properly cold.
Sizes run S through 2XL. Cut oversized, so take your usual size for the shape as designed. Wear it open over a tee and jeans, buttoned with the sleeves rolled, or as a layer under a bigger coat in deep winter. The chart below gives body measurements in inches.
