Fauvette is a cable knit sweater with a crew neck, which is about as classic as knitwear gets. Rope cables run down the body, the neckline sits close and round, and the sleeves are full length. The cable work gives the surface depth so that even in a plain colour the sweater has something going on, and it is dense enough to genuinely earn its place on a cold day.
The colour run leans soft rather than dark. Beige and khaki are the two neutrals and the most versatile. Green is the countryside option and works against brown leather. Rose and dark pink are the warmest, and blue is the freshest of the six. Wear it with jeans and boots, over a collared shirt, or with a pleated skirt for something more considered. It also takes a coat well without adding bulk at the shoulder.
Sizes run XS through 3XL, starting smaller than most of the knits in this collection.
