Edelinde is a long ribbed knit sweater dress, and the length is the point. Most knit dresses stop at the knee; this one carries on, which changes the proportions entirely and makes it work with flat boots and trainers rather than requiring a heel to balance it out.
Four colours, all muted. Black and grey are the easy neutrals. Khaki is warmer and sits with cream and tan. Green is the most distinctive and the one that stops this reading as a basic. The rib gives shape without clinging, and it recovers rather than bagging out at the knees over a long day of wear.
