Bourgine is a belted V-neck midi pencil dress. A pencil cut follows the body straight down from the hip rather than flaring, which is the sharpest dress shape for an office, and the belt marks the waist so the line does not read as a tube.
Seven colourways, and it is a properly considered office palette. Black, navy and light grey are the three sharpest. White and beige are the two pale neutrals. Brown is the warm option. Red is the single statement colour in the set.
Sizes run S through 2XL and it lands on our price floor, which is good value for a tailored shape. A pencil cut is less forgiving than an A-line, so check the hip measurement rather than sizing by habit. The chart below gives body measurements in inches.
