Aslaug is a pair of platform open toe espadrille sandals. An espadrille has a braided jute sole, which is lighter than rubber and is what gives the style its summer association. The platform adds height without the forward pitch of a heel.
Three colourways, all foundations. White is the crispest and the most summery. Black is the sharpest and carries into an evening. Beige is the one that sits closest to the jute itself and reads most naturally with the sole.
Sizes run US 5.5 through 11, whole sizes above 5.5, with no other half sizes stocked. Jute absorbs water and does not recover well, so keep these dry and never soak them. If you normally take a half size, take the larger whole size.

- Care: brush the jute clean when dry and wipe the upper with a barely damp cloth. Never soak, which swells and weakens the sole.
